Impact Environmental Group Announces Leadership Changes and Strategic Appointments in EMEA Region
Impact Environmental Group (IEG), a leading US-based waste solutions provider, today announced a significant transition in its EMEA leadership team. Mr. Mike Braddock will be stepping down from his role as Managing Director of the IEG EMEA team for personal reasons, effective January 26th. The company extends its deepest gratitude to Mr. Braddock for his invaluable service and leadership and wishes him the very best in his future endeavours.
This announcement comes in the wake of IEG’s aggressive expansion in the UK market, underscored by the recent acquisition of Capital Compactors in December 2023. Demonstrating its commitment to continue this momentum, IEG is pleased to announce the immediate appointments of Mr. David Williams as the new Managing Director of EMEA and Mr. Pete Dickson as EMEA Commercial Director.
Mr. Joe Stodola, Chief Operating Officer of IEG, commented on these appointments: “As we continue to evolve and strive for excellence, it is my pleasure to welcome David Williams to the helm of our EMEA operations. Mr. Williams is a seasoned leader with a remarkable track record in our industry. His previous leadership roles at Egbert H. Taylor and as CEO and Executive Chair of the Accura Group have equipped him with a wealth of experience, strategic vision, and operational expertise. We are confident that under his leadership, IEG EMEA will reach new heights of success.”
“Furthermore, we are delighted to welcome Pete Dickson as our new Commercial Director for IEG EMEA. Mr. Dickson, with over 25 years of experience in the waste and recycling industry, including significant roles at Biffa and Serco, brings invaluable expertise in business development and commercial strategy. His appointment is a key milestone in our commitment to innovation and excellence.”
IEG’s strategy in the UK is centred around building a comprehensive waste solutions business through ‘Best of British’ brands, focusing on sustainability and customer-service oriented growth. The new leadership appointments are expected to significantly bolster this strategy and facilitate further expansion in the region.
