Founding Platinum Partner Core Facility Services renews commitment to Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice were delighted to welcome Core Facility Services, one of its founding Platinum Partners, to the hospice to celebrate their long-standing partnership.

Forget Me Not Platinum Partner Consortium is a group of like-minded businesses who want to make a significant difference in helping Forget Me Not in their vital work in West Yorkshire, pledging their support for at least 12 months.

Core Facility Services were founding members of Forget Me Not Children's Hospice Platinum Partners when they first launched the initiative in July 2021, having supported and worked with the charity for over 10 years.

As well as making regular financial donations to the hospice Core Facility Services helps Forget Me Not keep their overheads to a minimum, hugely important at times like this, when the cost of energy in particular is high and unpredictable. Through careful management of the charity’s energy, waste and IT services, Core Facility Services ensures as much money as possible can go directly to front line services.

With offices in Huddersfield and Elland, Core Facility Services helps businesses and charities minimise the amount of their budget that is spent on energy, waste and IT services and works with them to develop strategies to manage these overheads. Core is well known for its face-to-face approach and enduring partnerships with clients, suppliers, charities, and community groups in Yorkshire.

This is an incredible charity and we have developed a longstanding and productive partnership that has seen us support them in all kinds of practical ways, as well as through corporate sponsorship. We are incredibly proud to be one of the founding members of the Platinum Partners initiative and highly recommend this scheme to other businesses that are looking for a rewarding charitable relationship where they can make a genuine impact.”

Ken Davy, President of Forget Me Not Children's Hospice Platinum Partners said,

“The long-standing relationship between Core Facility Services and Forget Me Not has been of immense value to us, supporting us with essential services like IT, energy and waste and making generous donations to the charity. So we’re delighted they have decided to renew their membership of our Platinum Partner consortium – their ongoing support will help us build a sustainable future caring for families facing or living with the loss of their child.”

The charity needs to raise £5.5m this year to run the hospice, with only a fraction of those funds coming from the government or NHS.
