Pneuma Group drives further growth with four new appointments

Middlesbrough-based Pneuma Group continues to strengthen its expansion plans in Teesside with the first appointments in a brand new construction and maintenance team.

The property arm of Pneuma Group has appointed Tony Todd, John Gillan, Neil Atkinson and Paul Round to the Pneuma Property Group team, to support the residential and commercial property acquisitions designed to breathe new life into Middlesbrough and the North East.

Working across existing properties in Pneuma Property Group’s portfolio, the new appointments bring with them a wealth of experience from project management, site supervision, on-site experience and construction qualifications.

The team will deliver construction and maintenance works for existing residential and commercial properties and already have a fully developed pipeline of future projects. They will also be supporting other parts of the group with their expertise, from the recently acquired Central Point offices and 176 Bar and Kitchen on Linthorpe Road, through to hospitality venues including the group’s high profile restaurant acquisition, SIX at Baltic.

Keith Nicholson, Managing Director of Pneuma Group, said the team will buoy up the group’s internal resource, adding, “We are fortunate to have such a skilled and experienced team joining the group and I’m looking forward to working with them to deliver exceptional spaces for staff and exceptional services to tenants.” Commenting on his appointment, General Manager John Gillan said, “The timing is great for us to join the group and Paul, Neil, Tony and I can’t wait to get started working on the properties and projects ahead of us.”

Project and Site Manager Tony Todd added, “It’s a great privilege to join the team to deliver these spaces, and I’m excited about bringing my construction and project expertise to the group and sharing my previous site experience.”

Pneuma Group is passionate in its commitment to Middlesbrough and improving life and employment prospects in the area. The group recently announced its acquisition of office block and multi-retail unit, Central Point on Linthorpe Road.
