Clive Owen LLP has significantly expanded its Durham office with a number of new appointments, taking its headcount to more than 20 colleagues.
Following the move to Belmont Business Park in 2007, the office has grown its tax, accounts and audit teams, cementing its reputation for innovative and progressive client service across the area.
In the last 12 months, the Durham team has experienced a remarkable 30% growth. This expansion includes welcoming Christopher Tindle as the new audit and accounts director and Cristina Berea as accounts associate in the audit team. Their expertise will enhance capabilities of Clive Owen LLP, which is committed to nurturing talent through comprehensive development and training programmes.
Underpinning its business success, Clive Owen LLP's Durham office is deeply rooted in the local community. The firm has recently established a food bank drop-off point, inspiring other local businesses to support those in need in the region. The team's active participation in volunteering days offered by the firm, alongside charity fundraisers further illustrates their dedication to making a meaningful impact not only to clients but also the wider community.
Gary Ellis, managing partner based at the Durham office, said: “We are delighted with our ongoing expansion, enabling us to serve a diverse range of clients effectively. Our focus on people is key to our success. We’re proud to offer a range of opportunities for our team to enhance their skills, through personal and professional development. Chris and Cristina have integrated well into our team, reflecting our firm's collaborative spirit, and I wish them well on their journey with us.”
Chris Tindle, audit director said, “I have joined Clive Owen LLP as I recognised their strength in the marketplace, as an independent firm, alongside their appetite for growth. The community aspect of the Durham office is also very important to me, as I am keen to give back to the region. It has been a pleasure getting to know my team, and I look forward to building relationships with clients, and continuing to provide an excellent level of service going forward. I am excited to continue my journey here.”
Clive Owen LLP looks forward to further growth and expansion in the coming year, continuing its legacy of excellence in client service and community involvement. The team now includes 134 colleagues across Darlington, Durham, York, and Middlesbrough, showcasing the firm’s strength and ambition.
