Pop culture brand announces ‘major licensing upgrade’ in Universal Studios partnership
Fanattik, the North West based award-winning pop culture brand specialising in limited edition affordable collectibles has renewed and grown its licensing partnership with Universal Studios to celebrate their upcoming 10-year anniversary of working with the studio.
As well as classic titles such as Back to The Future, Jaws and Jurassic Park which Fanattik already produces gifts, kitchenware, home décor and collectibles for, new titles added to the licence agreement include Shrek and The Fast & Furious franchises, both of which have big anniversaries coming up.
Anthony Marks, Managing Director of Fanattik, commented: “Signing with Universal all those years ago was a pivotal moment in our company’s history so it seemed apt that we celebrated our recent 15th anniversary by hiring a cinema to show a Jurassic Park film
“Everyone at Fanattik HQ dressed up in inflatable dinosaur costumes as well as hiring a Jurassic Park Jeep and the team then recreating famous scenes from the film.”
Fanattik was a finalist at the UK Licensing Awards for Best Gift Range for its 30th anniversary Jurassic Park collection which was launched at the Natural History Museum in London in 2023 and their Back to the Future Desk Pad is a 2024 nominee for Gift of the Year in the UK.
