Shelley Sandzer secures Anytime Fitness' biggest site to date in the UK

Specialist UK leisure property agency, Shelley Sandzer, has secured Anytime Fitness, the worldwide franchisee gym concept, at Ivor House in Brixton for the brand’s biggest location in the UK.

Anytime Fitness’ 12,000 sq ft site space in Brixton, which opened yesterday, incorporates a 7,000 sq ft gym, as well as three separate spin, hit, and holistic studios, elevating the fitness aspect for its members. Customers will benefit from 24/7 access and a range of high-quality gym equipment in a friendly and sociable environment, with convenience and accessibility at the forefront.

With over three million members worldwide, Anytime Fitness operates a franchisee model across five continents, operating in countries including Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Anytime Fitness has signed a 15-year lease at Ivor House which marks its biggest site in the UK, with the operator set to continue its expansion plans throughout 2024.

Ahead of its opening, Anytime Fitness Brixton broke the brand’s global record for pre-sale sign-ups. 

This follows the news that Shelley Sandzer acted on behalf of landlord GPE to secure a debut site for The Caviar Bar, the luxury dining experience synonymous with exceptional caviar and seafood at Medici Courtyard, located just off Mayfair’s Hanover Square.
