Manchester based specialist training provider supports growth with new appointment
Just weeks after announcing a move to a larger office and appointment of a further Training Instructor, Hydrogen Safe, the Manchester based specialist training provider equipping people with the skills and knowledge they need to work safely with hydrogen, has welcomed Business Development Executive, Dean Lee to the team.
With previous experience as a Partnership and Business Development Manager at Hydrogen Industry Leaders (HIL), Dean will use his transferable skills to engage with prospective clients and spearhead the sales activity for the company.
He commented: “Having provided events, magazines, webinars and podcasts in my previous role, the focus was on bringing together key elements of the hydrogen sector to push the industry forward into the mainstream.
“A large part of this was creating a platform for companies to form strategic partnerships, and that’s why I feel I was attracted to this new and exciting challenge.
“With a shared vision to improve knowledge of the hydrogen sector and to educate businesses about the need to close the skills gap if we are to benefit from the green economy, I am looking forward to making a difference to the individuals, education providers and companies we work with.”
CEO and Founder of Hydrogen Safe, Andy Lord, added: “I was impressed with Dean from our first meeting and his passion for hydrogen and the green energy sector was evident from the start. He brings valuable experience to the team, and this will support the business as we continue to expand our sales efforts.
“The focus now will be on helping companies to get the training their employees need, whilst working with them to minimise disruption to their businesses. We have ambitious plans at Hydrogen Safe and know that with the team we now have in place, we can turn them into a reality.”
Members of Hydrogen UK, the Hydrogen Energy Association and the Hydrogen Skills Alliance, Hydrogen Safe works with businesses, education providers and individuals to deliver courses that suit the needs of an organisation and its prospective delegates.
