Digital agency Climb & Conquer aims to hit £1.3m with 2-year plan
An independent Durham-based digital agency has rebranded to Climb & Conquer, and projected ambitious financial goals for the next two years.
The burgeoning SEO and PPC firm has enjoyed impressive growth so far and is on track for a £500,000 turnover by the end of its current financial year (August 2024), followed by a target of £750,000 for 2025, then £1.3m by EOFY 2026.
The rebrand and projections signal ambitious team expansion plans for Climb & Conquer, with an additional 10 roles to be created in 2024. The agency has recently welcomed new clients including MotorEasy, Mallet London and Crumbs & Doilies, with more exciting announcements still to be announced.
Climb & Conquer is founded and led by Shane Parkins, who previously held senior digital roles at Frank Recruitment Group, Silverbean, Workwear Express and The Tanning Shop. In 2021 he set up his consultancy, adding to the team in 2022. There are now 12 in the Climb & Conquer team.
A unique aspect of Climb & Conquer is its hiring style, with every member of the team initially joining the business at trainee level and benefiting from on-the-job bespoke training and mentoring, giving them a holistic view of digital services and performance as a whole across Technical SEO, Content, Paid Search, Outreach, Analytics and Dat. Following this training, team members then choose the discipline they wish to specialise in.
Parkins explains the thought process behind this approach, saying: “I’m very passionate about creating an environment where team members can learn a wide breadth of digital expertise and grow as the agency grows. I’m also proud to be giving many their “big break” into a digital career, whether that’s someone fresh out of education, or wanting to retrain. For me, it’s about breaking down those siloes and barriers to build a team of like-minded, determined individuals.
“Our approach means every single team member joins as a trainee, learns their craft, then has options to progress at whatever rate their ambition pushes them to, within their chosen specialism.”
The rebrand to Climb & Conquer also requires a more established senior leadership team, with Victor Stasiak and Blanaid May (pictured) stepping up into more senior positions and playing an active role in the business direction. Both have been with the agency since 2022.
Parkins adds: “I am incredibly proud of the business we are building and the results we’re achieving. I started this as a solo consultancy venture just over 3 years ago and the growth ever since still staggers me! I’m excited for the future as Climb & Conquer and where that will take us. We’re only getting started.”
