Surge launches initiative to support local charity
Marketing agency Surge has launched a charitable initiative to support a North East good cause.
The selected charity will receive not only £10,000 of marketing support tailored to its needs, but will also become the company's charity partner for the next 12 months.
By donating services, Surge will provide valuable expertise that many charities may not ordinarily be able to afford, significantly benefiting their cause.
The chosen charity will not only receive a marketing support package but, as charity partner, will also benefit from additional fundraising support through the company's various events and initiatives, raising awareness and additional funds throughout the year.
This initiative builds on Surge's previous work with the TeamLuke Foundation, a charity dedicated to funding research for rare childhood cancer neuroblastoma.
Through this partnership, Surge provided £14,000 of services, including creating copy and designing a much-needed new website for the foundation.
David Porter, Surge director, said “By providing the chosen charity with a tailored marketing support package, we're able to help a local charity build the tools and strategies they need to grow and sustain their efforts long-term.
“It's about empowering these organisations with the resources and knowledge to grow their reach and awareness, which ultimately benefits people in the North East community."
