London Internet Exchange names new CEO

The London Internet Exchange (LINX) has announced Jennifer Holmes as its new CEO, following an extensive global search.

Jennifer, who joined LINX in 2007 and currently serves as chief commercial officer, will transition to her new role on November 25, succeeding Kurtis Lindqvist.

With a proven track record of driving membership growth from 200 to over 980 global networks, Jennifer brings deep industry expertise and a passion for advancing LINX’s role in the interconnectivity ecosystem.

Her leadership will guide LINX as it celebrates 30 years of pioneering interconnectivity and continues to deliver innovative solutions across the UK, US and Africa.

Jennifer said: “I am truly honoured and proud to be taking over from Kurtis and step into this role, leading a company that has already achieved so much.

“This is an exciting chapter in LINX's history as we celebrate 30 years of business, with many opportunities for future growth.

“I look forward to working closely with the staff, Board of Directors, and members in the coming years to drive LINX's continued success within the interconnection community.”

Pieter Knook, chair of the LINX Board of Directors, added: “The Board was unanimous in their choice for Jennifer.
