Vertu Motors 'in gear for growth' after Burrows deal
A motor dealership is driving ahead after completing a takeover.
Vertu Motors has bought Burrows Motor Company.
The agreement adds nine dealerships across Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire to the Gateshead-headquartered firm’s portfolio, growing its presence in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, York and Worksop.
Bosses say it means Vertu now has more than 200 sales and aftersales outlets nationwide.
Robert Forrester, chief executive, said: “We are delighted to have completed the acquisition of Burrows Motor Company, strengthening our representation of trusted and successful brands such as Toyota, Kia and Mazda.
“This not only bolsters the Vertu brand across Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire, but also increases our opportunity to provide an outstanding service to more customers in these regions.”
