Aviation work helps Dudleys' turnover take off
A structural and civil engineering consultant says it is “very optimistic about future business development” after aviation sector work helped income take off.
Dudleys saw turnover rise 15 per cent in its 2023/2024 financial year.
Bosses say the increase was catalysed by its lead consultancy role on the £100 million extension of Leeds Bradford Airport, with further contracts with London Luton Airport and Heathrow Airport maintaining its momentum.
The firm, which is celebrating 15 years in business, operates across the residential, industrial, commercial, retail and education sectors, and counts Arla Foods, Unilever UK, Leeds City Council and Leeds United as clients.
Andy Walker, managing director at the Leeds-based company, which employs 30 staff and has a sister office in Manchester, said: “We are delighted to report strong trading over the last financial year.
“We are immensely proud of our ability to maintain close working relationships with clients for the long-term.
“Diversification and multi-sector work has also helped us maintain business resilience, and we are pleased to have expanded our care sector portfolio and repeat instructions from leading operators including Torsion Group, Voyage Care and LNT Care Developments.
“We have also seen a significant increase in business for large-scale housing developments and the energy sector, particularly for electric vehicle charging sites.
“With a robust growth plan and succession planning in place, we are very optimistic about future business development and regional growth.”
