Team RH appoints new chief executive
Gateshead-headquartered Team RH, the direct-talking fitness brand behind a popular weight loss app, has named Liam Rafferty as its new chief executive.
With over 25 years of experience in corporate and SME leadership, including 15 years at Aldi, Liam brings expertise in digital transformation and operational strategy.
His leadership will be pivotal as Team RH enhances its app, grows its member base and scales operations, including expanding its eCommerce offering.
Liam said: "I’m thrilled to join Team RH at such a pivotal time. The company has built a strong foundation, and I’m excited to help drive its future success.
“The opportunity to combine my experience in digital transformation and operational efficiency with Team RH’s unique fitness approach is incredibly exciting.
“I look forward to working with the team to reach even more people and deliver real results."
Founded in 2014 by Richie Howey, Team RH has supported nearly 500,000 members in achieving sustainable weight loss and employs over 70 staff.
Richie added: "Liam’s experience in scaling digital platforms and managing operations made him the ideal fit for us.
“He’s got the vision, drive, and expertise to help us elevate Team RH to new heights.
“We’ve built an amazing community, and I’m confident that with Liam at the helm, we’ll continue to revolutionise the fitness industry."
