Silverstone adds graduate surveyor in Newcastle

National chartered surveying firm Silverstone Building Consultancy has strengthened its Newcastle office with the appointment of Jade Cutmore as a graduate surveyor.

The hire brings Silverstone's headcount to 16 across its Newcastle, Leeds and London offices, supporting its extensive client portfolio, which includes Hitachi, British Land, Leopard Capital, Glenbrook, Harworth Group Plc, Leeds Bradford Airport, The Inn Collection Group, Motorpoint, Womble Bond Dickinson, and several education trusts.

Jade, 22, from Gateshead, holds a BSc Hons degree in Building Surveying from Northumbria University and is working towards her RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).

Her role involves assisting with dilapidations surveys, site surveys and reinstatement cost assessments, alongside investigating building defects. She will later support the management of commercial construction projects.

She said: “I feel extremely privileged and proud to gain my first experience within the industry with Silverstone which is well-respected and has some high-profile clients.
