Aventus Energy expands with senior appointment
Aventus Energy, a specialist in inspection, repair, and maintenance solutions for the energy industry, has appointed Donny Marshall as business director as part of an ambitious growth strategy. The company plans to hire up to 30 new personnel and expand its capabilities while establishing a significant presence in Aberdeen.
With extensive experience in engineering, fabrication and construction, Marshall has held senior roles at TEXO Group, Houlder Ltd., and Transocean. His leadership will support Aventus Energy’s aim to serve the full lifecycle of projects across the energy sector, including renewables and oil and gas.
Donny said: “It’s an exciting time to be joining Aventus Energy.
“Following a period of impressive growth, the company is embarking on the next phase of its growth strategy seeing us deliver engineering & design, fabrication, construction installation, inspection, repair and maintenance solutions covering the full lifecycle of energy projects.
“A key part of this strategy is establishing a larger administrative and operational presence in Aberdeen.”
Ross Thomson, Aventus Energy managing director, added: “We’re delighted to bring in someone of Donny’s experience and calibre in what will be a key role in the next stage of our expansion.
“As business director, Donny will drive us forward, improving operational efficiencies, and help us expand our Aberdeen operations and service capabilities.”
This recruitment drive coincides with Aventus Energy opening an office at neospace on Riverside Drive, Aberdeen, with plans underway to secure permanent office, warehouse and fabrication facilities.
Donny, alongside general manager Lindsay Bruce and commercial team member Kenny Simpson, will lead operations from Aberdeen.
Currently headquartered at Invergordon Service Base, Aventus Energy's expansion will see significant investments in talent and infrastructure over the next 8–10 months, strengthening its capabilities to meet growing industry demands.
