Equiom strengthens global risk strategy
Equiom, the global professional services provider that offers end-to-end wealth protection and support services to private and corporate clients, has appointed Naveed Shah as chief risk officer, overseeing its compliance and risk management functions across multiple jurisdictions.
Naveed will focus on strengthening the company’s risk strategy and aligning its compliance framework with global standards, contributing as a key member of Equiom’s global executive committee.
Bringing nearly 30 years of financial services experience, Shah previously served as head of UK & CEEMEA compliance and operational risk at Bank of America.
His extensive background includes senior roles at Deloitte, HSBC, JP Morgan, and UBS, showcasing his expertise in managing regulatory and operational risk across diverse financial landscapes.
He said: “I am excited to join Equiom and lead its global risk and compliance function.
