Native Residential boosts leadership team
Native Residential has rebranded as Native Communities to reflect its expanded portfolio, which now includes 600,000sq ft of commercial real estate, 6.5 acres of public realm and 7,000 residential units.
The company has also announced several key appointments to its 200-strong team.
David Glass joins as director of finance from Global Holdings Management Group, while David Tomlinson takes the role of head of asset management from Say Property Consulting LLP. Meanwhile, Richard Higham has been appointed head of digital, joining from CuddleCo, and Rachelle Bownes becomes general manager of Station Hill, having previously worked at Salesforce Tower.
In addition, several internal promotions have been made to strengthen the leadership team. Jake Matthews has been promoted to director of facilities management, with Amy Crow stepping into the role of head of building safety. Bex Hetherington Rothwell becomes head of operations (North), Chloe Parker takes on the role of head of leasing (South), and Jodie Clark is now head of mobilisation and onboarding.
Native Communities continues to lead the UK’s living sector with 10 years of expertise, offering data-driven consultancy and exceptional management services to institutional clients including LaSalle Investment Management, Invesco and British Land. The rebrand follows its July 2024 demerger from Native Places, which was acquired by Berlin-based NUMA Group.
Guy Nixon, chief executive officer of Native Communities, said: “Working with our clients under our new Native Communities brand better reflects the diversity of our assets under management and the depth of experience across our teams beyond the living sector, including offices, retail and public realm.
“We stand out in the market by bringing operations of developments of all asset classes within large scale mixed-use under the same team, enabling reporting and on the ground efficiencies for our clients.”
