First Response Group bolsters board with HR director
Leeds-based First Response Group (FRG), a leading UK provider of security, risk and facilities management services, has appointed Dannii Wood-Wright as group HR director, joining its board of directors.
Bringing extensive HR experience across international, multi-million-pound businesses, Dannii will oversee FRG's people strategy, focusing on initiatives such as accountability modelling, talent management frameworks and revamped reward systems.
She said: “Over the years I have been involved in all elements of HR from recruitment to restructuring, but it is the people on the ground who I am particularly passionate about.
“Joining FRG was an obvious choice for me, to reignite my love of HR and be involved in a company that is a forward-thinking employer of choice, with a passion to be the best from guarding through to senior leadership.”
Simon Alderson, chief executive officer of FRG, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Dannii to the team.
“With her proven background as an HR director, we are already benefitting from her strategic insight to help shape the company’s future as a member of the board.”
Dannii’s appointment follows a year of accolades for FRG, including multiple industry awards and recognition at the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards 2024. The company also hired Barry Dawson as group managing director earlier this year.
