Mobile Tornado relocates to support global growth
A Yorkshire-based technology firm that has enjoyed “meteoric growth” is relocating its head office to Harrogate’s Copthall Bridge, aligning with its global expansion and growing demand for its innovative solutions.
Mobile Tornado, a leader in push-to-talk over cellular and workforce management technology, delivers critical communication tools that enhance workforce safety, efficiency and productivity.
Its patented Internet Protocol Radio Service (IPRS™) technology supports instant voice and multimedia communication, complete with GPS tracking and emergency SOS alerts.
Recent months have seen the firm secure significant customer wins globally, serving industries across Europe, North and South America, and Africa, which has prompted a restructuring of its operational base and team.
Bosses say the new office will accommodate further growth and bolster remote working capabilities by providing a “premium working environment” and “state-of-the-art” hybrid technology.
Luke Wilkinson, managing director of Mobile Tornado, said: “As we continue to grow around the world, it is important for our head office to be flexible enough to meet our future needs and provide a premium working environment for our team.
“Copthall Bridge stands out in Harrogate thanks to its focus on wellbeing and excellent technology, which supports hybrid working.”
The move also aligns with the £10.5 million redevelopment of Copthall Bridge by office group WorkWell, designed to support 360 jobs in Harrogate. Centrally located near train and bus stations, the site is tailored for growing businesses such as Mobile Tornado.
Oliver Corrigan, managing director of WorkWell, added: “It’s great to see our newly opened Copthall Bridge offices competing in a global market to attract companies like Mobile Tornado.
“The office is designed to provide a high-quality working environment that supports productivity. Thanks to flexible spaces and the latest technology, hybrid working is seamless.
“We look forward to supporting Mobile Tornado’s meteoric growth.”
