Maison Sport triples Lake District team
Maison Sport, the leading platform connecting ski enthusiasts with expert instructors across Europe, has significantly expanded its Lake District office in Staveley, tripling its team size since opening in November 2023.
The expansion focuses on bolstering sales and customer service teams, ensuring the company continues to deliver exceptional service as it scales operations.
With a 62 per cent year-on-year performance increase and gross booking revenue set to surpass €17 million, Maison Sport’s impressive growth highlights its strong market position and the rising demand for its ski instructor platform.
Nick Robinson, Maison Sport chief executive officer and co-founder, said: “Our Lake District team has become a cornerstone of our expansion strategy, and we anticipate its growth to over 20 team members within the next year.
“The region's unique combination of passionate outdoor enthusiasts and skilled professionals makes it an exceptional place for us to build a team.
“This expansion not only reflects Maison Sport’s commitment to investing in local talent but also aligns with our mission to elevate customer experiences and drive innovation in our services.”
Izzy Kenny, chief commercial officer of Maison Sport, added: “At Maison Sport, we are proud to invest in local talent as we continue to grow our business internationally.
“Our latest recruitment drive for our Lake District office highlights our commitment to fostering regional expertise and creating opportunities within the community.
“By expanding our Lake District team, we are not only strengthening our operational capabilities, but also ensuring that our core values of accessibility, personalisation and quality remain at the heart of everything we do.
“This growth allows us to better serve our customers and instructors while cementing the Lake District as a key hub for Maison Sport’s success and future innovation.”
