Care 24-7 drives on with greener fleet move
A care provider says it has accelerated support services after switching to a greener transport model.
Care 24-7 has launched a hybrid car fleet.
Bosses say the move will boost workers’ ability to help patients across Yorkshire and the North East while minimising the environmental impact.
Based in Bradford, Leeds, Middlesbrough and Redcar, Care 24-7 is working with The Contented Dementia Trust on the SPECAL method, which it says treats dementia as a disability and works positively to help those with the condition.
Karen Thornton, Care 24-7 co-founder and director of care, said: “We're not just providing care, we're transforming lives.
“Our partnership with The Contented Dementia Trust, and the launch of our specialised dementia care service Flourish, demonstrates our unwavering commitment to providing sustainable, dementia specific and fully personalised dementia care.
“And by investing in hybrid cars, we're ensuring we can deliver this exceptional care in an environmentally responsible way.”
Rory O’Gara, chief operating officer of Servisource, Care 24-7’s parent company, added: “The hybrid fleet further solidifies Care 24-7’s position as a leader in sustainable and responsible care.”
