Newcastle law firm makes capital expansion
A commercial law firm has expanded into London.
JLF has opened a Soho office.
Founder Jabad Jaigirdar says the move marks the “next logical step” following consecutive years of growth.
The firm, founded in 2020, has taken space in Cubo’s Ilona Rose House base, with Jabad relocating from JLF’s Newcastle headquarters to oversee its launch.
The expansion comes after JLF last year switched to Cubo space in Newcastle’s Bank House office development and invested a six-figure sum to recruit five law graduates and support their career paths to become solicitors.
Jabad said: “With an increasing amount of London-based clients using JLF, establishing a presence in the capital was the next logical step in our growth journey.
“JLF works with a lot of high-growth tech companies and their founders, mid-market private equity funds and family offices in London, so we’re excited to have a permanent presence there.”
Marc Brough, Cubo chief executive, added: “We are thrilled JLF is continuing its growth at Cubo Soho London in addition to its headquarters at Cubo Newcastle Bank House.
“The firm's impressive track record and commitment to growth align with the values we uphold.”
