Vianet Group cheers new brewer deal
A data monitoring firm helping pub landlords reduce waste has secured a “milestone” deal with an international firm.
Vianet Group is working with a “global brewing industry leader”.
Bosses say the agreement will see the Stockton-based company supply its draught beer monitoring system to sites across the UK, “paving the way” for Vianet to expand across the hospitality sector.
They add the alliance – secured through Vianet’s existing relationship with data operator The Oxford Partnership – will “provide detailed performance insights into the brewer’s key brands”.
It comes after Vianet secured new long-term deals with Heineken and Greene King, with James Dickson, the company’s chair and chief executive, saying it “represents strong validation” of its “investment in beverage metrics.”
He added: “These collaborations are unlocking exciting commercial opportunities within the hospitality sector and beyond.
“Combined with the encouraging progress we are making in the US, and recent long-term contract extensions with Heineken’s Star Pubs & Bars and Greene King, this milestone underscores the growing recognition of our solutions.”
