Recruiter seeks growth with £2.5 million support

A construction and engineering sector recruitment firm is seeking to build its market presence after securing £2.5 million backing.

AM Recruitment has been supported by Cynergy Business Finance.

The business, based in Billingham, near Stockton, says the cash will bolster working capital and “enhance operational flexibility” to help it “respond effectively” to client needs.

It adds the funding – secured through a confidential invoice discounting facility – will help “manage fluctuating debtor balances that can vary significantly due to the sector’s reactive nature”.
