NTG appoints managing director of NTG England
National Timber Group (NTG) has appointed Ed Holder as managing director of NTG England.
Ed, previously managing director of SV Timber, brings over 30 years of experience in the timber industry.
He founded SV Timber Ltd in 2004, growing it into a thriving three-branch business in the East Midlands with more than 60 employees.
Since SV Timber’s acquisition by NTG in 2022, Ed has played a key strategic role, ensuring customers benefit from NTG’s broader product range and services.
In his new role, he will lead NTG England’s growth and development across its expanding network.
Ed said: “After accepting this leadership position in September 2024, I have been focused on supporting to restructure the business in several key areas.
“I am 100 per cent committed to ensuring that NTG England maintains strength and agility within the timber and construction industry.
“I am looking forward to leading our experienced NTG England team, and I am determined to drive the group forward - utilising our potential for growth and success.”
