Bevan Brittan bolsters pensions team with senior hire
Bristol-headquartered Bevan Brittan has appointed pensions specialist Joel Eytle as a partner, marking its first senior hire of 2025.
Joining from DLA Piper, Joel brings 20 years of experience advising employers, investors, trustees and pension providers.
He will lead Bevan Brittan’s national pensions team from the firm’s London office, supporting clients across government, healthcare, insurance, housing and higher education.
His appointment follows a period of strong growth for Bevan Brittan, which made ten partner hires and recorded its eleventh consecutive year of expansion in 2023/24.
Jodie Sinclair, senior partner at Bevan Brittan and head of its employment, pensions and immigration department, said: “Welcoming our latest partner hire - and the fourth new partner to join the department in 15 months - is a fantastic way to start 2025.
“Joel brings considerable experience across a range of our chosen markets, adding further depth to our sector and subject matter specialisms for which we are market leaders, and boosting the level of support that we can provide to our growing client base.
“I am delighted that Joel is our first new partner of 2025.
“Given our year-on-year growth, and as we look ahead to our next five year strategy, I am confident that we will continue to attract strong laterals who want to be part of a firm that focuses on important sectors and delivers meaningful outcomes for its clients.”
