Jack Boldy has been promoted to head of distribution, while Dan Wignall steps up as head of contract logistics.
Jack, previously transport development manager, will oversee general distribution operations and drive service improvements.
Dan, formerly contracts manager, will lead the company’s contract logistics service, supporting high-volume customers with dedicated fleet and warehousing solutions.
Founded in 1988, Expect Distribution employs over 430 staff and operates a fleet of 130 vehicles.
The company provides nationwide palletised distribution, warehousing and specialist logistics services, including partnerships with Amazon and the pharmaceutical sector.
Andy Taylor, Expect Distribution operations director, said: “Our colleagues are key to us achieving our mission statement - we’re committed to being the best in our industry.
“We’re therefore passionate about investing in, and developing, our people and I’m delighted to recognise the performance and potential of Jack and Dan by promoting them to their new roles.
“They exemplify our values of hard work, dedication and a customer-centric approach that builds lasting business relationships.
“We’re confident their leadership will contribute significantly to our continued growth in the future.
“Life in our industry is fast-paced and never stands still, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact both will have for our customers, our colleagues and our business.”
