Pine retains its Michelin Star & Green Star

A Northumberland restaurant has maintained its place among the UK’s top dining destinations after securing a Michelin Star for the fourth year running.

Restaurant Pine, which is set in an old cow farm at Vallum Farm, has also secured its Michelin Green Star once again, confirming its commitment to culinary excellence and sustainability. 

The awards were announced on February 10 at the Michelin Guide Ceremony in Glasgow, where the UK’s best restaurants were celebrated.

Led by head chef Ian Waller and head sommelier Vanessa Stoltz, Pine continues to impress with its seasonal tasting menus and new Saturday lunch menu.

Chefs Cal Byerley and Ian Waller said: ‘’Retaining our Michelin Star and Michelin Green Star is brilliant news. 

“Everyone’s hard work and dedication has again paid off, and we’re so thankful for what they do in helping us make the restaurant what it is – so this accolade is a huge reward for all of their effort.’’

Siân Byerley, co-owner of Restaurant Pine, added: ‘’Every single one of us in the team has worked incredibly hard since we opened the restaurant in what had previously been an old cattle barn. 

“The fact we’ve retained both of our Michelin accolades shows that we’re all still as passionate and dedicated as we were when we started, if not more so.’’
