Esh Construction hails 'milestone' housing work
A construction firm has hailed a “milestone” £3.5 million renovation.
Esh Construction has completed work on a Hartlepool sheltered housing scheme.
The venture, delivered alongside Thirteen Group, saw Esh Construction carry out a full mechanical and electrical refurbishment of the 46-home Bramley Court assisted living development.
The work included major heating upgrades and installation of a new fire alarm system, warden call, access controls and CCTV.
Emergency lighting was also installed throughout communal areas, with upgrades made to windows and doors and new guttering and downpipes fitted.
Andrew Harrow, Esh Construction’s framework manager, said: “The completion of works at Bramley Court marks another milestone in our partnership with Thirteen and its capital delivery framework.
“We’ve now delivered more than £18.7 million of refurbishment and upgrade works through the framework, providing important home upgrades for residents.”
Claire Atkinson, Thirteen’s investment area manager, added: “We’re pleased to have worked with Esh again to deliver much needed investment work, which we know will make a noticeable difference to customers’ homes.”
