Leger hails 'step forward' with Medichecks deal
A medical firm has been bought by a national operator.
Leger Clinic is now part of blood test provider Medichecks Group.
Bosses say the deal for the Doncaster-founded testosterone replacement therapy provider marks “a major step forward… in making treatment more accessible and affordable for men across the UK”.
Dr Douglas Savage, who launched Leger Clinic in the late 1980s, said: “Testosterone deficiency is a real issue.
“Patients tell us they’ve lost their get-up-and-go, they’re miserable and their partners are noticing it too.
“I’ve seen first-hand how therapy can transform men’s lives.
“It’s not just about increasing testosterone – it’s about giving men back their energy, confidence and drive.
“By joining Medichecks, we can make monitoring simpler, more affordable and ensure men get the care they need without unnecessary barriers.”
Helen Marsden, co-founder of Medichecks, which has clinics across the UK, added: “Acquiring Leger means we’re ensuring more men can benefit from expert treatment.
“We want men to take control of their health and feel their best again.”
