Northcoders expands with artificial intelligence camp
A tech training provider is launching a bootcamp to develop the sector's workers of tomorrow.
Northcoders has launched a 14-week data engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning venture, designed to equip students with “cutting-edge” industry skills.
Steven Oakes, chief marketing officer at Leeds-based Northcoders, which recently unveiled its part-time software development academy, said: “This new bootcamp is designed to be world-class and deliver the skills today's tech industry demands.
“By continually evolving our curriculum to incorporate the latest in data engineering, AI and machine learning, we are ensuring our graduates are not only ready for current challenges but will also become part of the next generation of data engineers.
“They won’t use artificial intelligence as a writing tool, but will instead build systems that incorporate it and machine learning in ways that push the boundaries of the field.
“This approach is absolutely key in our mission of developing the most in-demand tech professionals of tomorrow.”
The move comes alongside a £1.5 million finance agreement with NatWest, which bosses say will help refinance existing loans and unlock funds to support further expansion.
Applications for the bootcamp are now open and can be made here.
