Jobs boost in Sheffield student housing project

A student accommodation provider says a new city scheme will create and support hundreds of jobs.

true student is transforming an ex-BMW car garage into a 28-storey living hub in Sheffield.

It says the new building will house 494 beds, catering to students from The University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University.

They add it will generate 440 jobs through contractors.

Designed for modern student living, the accommodation offers en-suite apartment-style rooms, studios and extensive facilities including study zones, a 225sq metre gym, social areas, event spaces and an outdoor sky lounge and terrace.
