London law firms unveil 'milestone' merger
Two London law firms have agreed a merger.
Seddons and GSC Solicitors are set to join forces.
Bosses say the “milestone” agreement, set to complete on April 1, “provides the perfect platform for future growth”.
Under the terms of the deal, the new firm – which will employ more than 150 staff – will be known as Seddons GSC LLP.
It will operate from Seddons’ Fitzrovia offices, with GSC Solicitors’ partners becoming partners in the merged firm.
Simon Ross will operate as Seddons GSC managing partner, with Saleem Sheikh, GSC Solicitors’ senior partner, becoming Seddons GSC senior partner.
Simon said: “The merger is exciting news for our people and clients.
“It strengthens our combined offering and provides the perfect platform for future growth.”
Saleem added: “This marks an exciting new chapter.
“Our firms have a deep-rooted commitment to excellence, innovation and client service, making this partnership a natural fit.”
A 31-partner law firm, Seddons provides support across areas including real estate, corporate, dispute resolution, private client and family law.
GSC Solicitors, founded more than 50 years ago, is known for corporate, commercial, real estate, dispute resolution and intellectual property services.
