Cundall boosts Scottish presence with new office
A global engineering consultancy has strengthened its Scottish presence with an office move.
Cundall has switched to Edinburgh’s New Clarendon.
Bosses say the base “supports the firm’s values of collaboration, excellence and employee wellbeing”.
The George Street office replaces a site in Edinburgh’s Semple Street, where Cundall had operated for ten years.
John McLoughlin, Cundall partner, said: “We are very excited to move into our new office.
“We consulted with employees on their priorities and then created a collaborative and inclusive space with sustainable design principles at the centre.
“Our ambition was to create a space where everyone felt welcome, and all needs were catered for.”
Newcastle-headquartered Cundall worked with Space Architects on the design of its new base, which it says has driven numerous sustainability improvements, with more than half of materials and furniture used coming from reclaimed sources.
Alex Mar Morales, senior sustainability engineer, added: “Our office move allowed us to discover new ways to reduce our environmental impact through design, while also preparing for future flexibility and adaptability to evolving workplace needs.
“We look forward to sharing these key learnings with clients.”
The firm has offices across the globe, which include sites in Dubai, London, Madrid, Singapore and Sydney.
