Baines Jewitt trainee qualifies as chartered accountant
Laura Walker, from Middleton St George, Darlington, has qualified as a chartered accountant at Baines Jewitt in Stockton-on-Tees.
Since joining in 2022, Laura has combined full-time work with rigorous training and exams to earn membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW).
She previously completed a four-year apprenticeship and AAT qualifications before progressing to the firm’s trainee programme.
Don Adams, director at Baines Jewitt, said: “Laura is a valuable member of our team.
“As well as assisting with the preparation of accounts and audits, she has worked hard to achieve chartered accountancy status.
“In return, she has benefitted from a competitive salary, an attractive employee-based benefits package and our employer-supported professional training programme, which includes paid study leave and good routes for career progression.’’
