POWWR launches new I&C division
POWWR, the energy software provider headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, with a UK office in Manchester, has announced the formation of a dedicated industry and commercial (I&C) division, led by Scott Barber.
With over 45 years of combined experience, Scott will oversee the strategic direction and management of the new team.
Having been with POWWR for five years, Scott brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles at British Gas and energy broker aggregators.
The I&C division aims to expand POWWR’s presence, especially in the renewable energy sector, as well as strengthen its relationships with suppliers and brokers while ensuring a top-tier service for I&C clients with high energy usage.
Scott said: “We want to establish a clear process for collecting feedback from our customers on their experience working with POWWR and then use this input to drive continuous improvement.
“Meter connections can be tricky for I&C businesses.
“They can have multiple meters under the same business name across different billable sites with different usages in each.
“This can be a real headache for suppliers and brokers.
“Luckily, we are well placed to help.”
Matt Tormollen, chief executive of POWWR, added: “Whilst we help businesses of all sizes, POWWR has achieved significant traction within the I&C sector during the past 12 months.
“Given market dynamics, brokers and supplier to I&C customers have never needed streamlined processes and advanced tools more than they do now.
“The ability to efficiently manage tenders leveraging specialised software to optimise request processing, provide dynamic pricing, and produce tailored quotations with faster cycle time cannot be understated.
“Through the evolution and expansion of our core industry relationships, POWWR can negotiate a range of exclusive products and commercial terms with key suppliers not available elsewhere.
“This helps us support our broker partners to meet the diverse needs of their I&C customers and grow their I&C portfolio.”
