Rubicon Bridge feeling fit with sporting move
A regulatory compliance software firm says it is in good shape for fresh success after moving into a multi-billion-pound market.
Rubicon Bridge has launched its Reg Tech Tool™ into the sports nutrition sector.
Bosses say the move will help brands “overcome complex barriers” to expand globally while shifting Hull-based Rubicon Bridge into a sporting sphere worth £61 billion in Europe alone.
The firm’s technology allows food supplement and vitamin operators to quickly check ingredient compliance and identify European sales targets.
It also generates packaging and listing information in multiple languages and automatically highlights regulatory changes.
And officials say it is now primed to make a difference to the “challenging” sports nutrition sector – which is tipped to grow by 7.1 per cent by 2030 – where products typically contain numerous ingredients.
Lee Gray, Rubicon Bridge business development director, said: “Customer demand has been a key driver for this expansion.
“Many brands we’ve worked with historically have both sports nutrition and vitamins in their product ranges and, until now, we've only been able to help them with the latter.
“This expansion is about better supporting our existing customers while entering an exciting product category.
“American brands have some of the best sports nutrition products, often years ahead due to their innovation cycle and research capabilities.
“Our vision is to help those brands bring their products to the UK and EU, making them available to consumers in these regions.”
