Advisor Saffery expands operations into Leeds
A national accounting and business advisory firm is expanding its transaction services division into Yorkshire.
Saffery, which has provided transaction services for nearly 20 years, with a ten-strong team in London and a team of five in Manchester, is extending operations into Leeds.
Led by Hayley Brightmore-Cox, the growing Northern team advises private equity firms, banks and corporate clients on deals ranging from £2 million to £50 million.
Hayley said: “Having established ourselves in Manchester, the time is right to expand our service offering further in the North, and we will be working with our colleagues in Leeds to develop this side of the business.
“We have worked for a number of mid-market private equity houses with a Leeds or Yorkshire focus including YFM, Equity Partners, LDC and Foresight Group, and we plan to further grow our client base of acquisitive corporate clients in the region, as well as advising banks and debt funders that are funding acquisitions.”
Saffery, which employs more than 1200 people across nine UK offices, delivers financial due diligence and advisory services to buyers and sellers navigating mergers, acquisitions and investments.
