Kev Price is a tech geek with a head for business. Fresh out of Newcastle Uni with a Physics degree, Kev became a Geomatics engineer in 2000, working on the Get Mapping project, which later became Google Maps. Now he runs Reframed.tv, a unique platform that syncs tweets with livestream video in real-time and on-demand. A creative programmer with a flair for solving ‘impossible’ problems, he’s self-taught and an expert in PHP, JavaScript, ActionScript, MySQL, Nodejs, mongodb, HTML and CSS. His career includes partnering in online holiday rentals startup rentalsfrance.com, employment as a web developer at VisualSoft and The bgroup before co-founding digital agency Ki Media with Jo York in 2007, becoming technical director. With co-founder Jo York, he was part of (tech accelerator) Ignite100’s 2013 cohort where he took Reframed from concept to market trial in three months. As CEO he oversees the direction of the company and marketing strategy and directs product development.
