Mike graduated in 1997 with a BEng (Hons) in Electronics and Engineering. This background has been the basis of a career in technical recruitment and human capital management that has culminated in his current role as CEO of the Serocor Group of companies. Beginning his career as a technical contract recruitment consultant shortly after graduation, Mike worked in a broad range of recruitment roles. He helped establish and grow a technical staffing division within an agency before joining Advanced Resource Managers (ARM) in 2000, co-founding the firm’s engineering division. Always a passionate advocate of professional operational governance, best practice and investment into people, Mike oversaw the growth of ARM’s focus on customer service, marketing, quality and L&D, progressing from Operations Director to MD. With his fellow board members, he planned and oversaw the birth of The Serocor Group, which counts ARM among its businesses. His goal now as CEO is to encourage entrepreneurs to join the Group, setting up niche human capital brands whilst enjoying the support and infrastructure from the group’s shared support services and board of directors.
