HIS Hair celebrates milestone turnover and global expansion

HIS Hair Clinic – the original developer of Micro Hair Technique (MHT®) scalp pigmentation – is celebrating reaching the £2 million turnover mark, following the successful roll-out of its rapid global expansion plans.

In a period of unprecedented growth, the Birmingham-based company has seen an uplift in sales and hit the landmark turnover at the end of last month.

The results follow a number of considerable milestones, including significant growth overseas with the opening of seven new clinics in the US – in addition to the existing three clinics in the UK and seven other clinics worldwide.

The business has also boosted its staff numbers by 600 per cent during this period, with plans to recruit further in the next 12 months.

HIS Hair Clinic continues to have ambitious plans for growth and aims to have 20 clinics operating across the globe by the end of 2013. It is also expanding its services and developing a skincare range, as well as providing laser pigmentation removal for clients.

Company founders, Ian Watson and Ranbir Rai-Watson, began developing the MHT scalp pigmentation treatment in 2002, opening the first HIS Hair Clinic in Birmingham in 2006. Since then, global demand for the procedure has seen the company opening in locations that include Paris, London, Hong Kong, New York, Los Angeles, Marbella and Dubai, amongst others.
