North East businesses urged to get involved with this week's Newcastle Business Awards
Businesses are being urged to be part of this week’s second Siemens Power Generation Services-sponsored Newcastle Business Awards 2016, by buying tickets for the few remaining tables.
They are guaranteed prominent positioning, a branded table, mentions throughout the night, logo display, and a splash on social media to announce their involvement.
Ten categories are being fought over in the annual awards event, which takes place this Thursday (17th November) at the plush Skylight Suite within the Beacon Centre in Westgate Road.
They are Digital Innovation In Business, Food, Drink and Hospitality, New Business of the Year, Green Business of the Year, Small/Medium Business Of The Year, and Trainee/Apprentice of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Creative Business of the Year, and Excellence in Marketing.
Organised by communities’ charity Groundwork South Tyneside and Newcastle (STAN), the awards promote the community charity’s vision of changing places, changing lives by inspiring communities through enterprise.
Andrew Watts, Chief Executive of Groundwork STAN, said: “The event will promote the ethos and practice of businesses and the community working together to drive social improvement whilst encouraging a more environmentally sustainable approach to growing the local economy. Last year’s inaugural awards were a huge success, and I’m delighted that we’ve returned with an expanded category list in 2016.
“It is a great way for businesses of all sizes and potential to be part of an exciting event that is open to all firms based in the Newcastle area. There are a few places still available, and I hope businesses in the city who are not yet involved will seize this wonderful opportunity.”
Tickets are priced £50 a head or £400 excluding VAT for a table of 10, with a three-course meal included.
