Groundwork South Tyneside & Newcastle is a charity which helps people and organisations make changes in order to create better neighbourhoods, to build skills and job prospects, and to live and work in a greener way.Part of a federation of Groundwork Trusts in England, Wales and Northern Ireland we have worked in the heart of communities in South Tyneside since 1991 and expanded into Newcastle in 2007. We have over twenty years’ experience of delivering bespoke projects that use the environment as a catalyst for building a more sustainable future. Each year we deliver hundreds of projects helping to improve the quality of people’s lives, their prospects and potential and the places where they live, workand play. Our Hebburn head office is within the award winning Eco Centre, a sustainable building opened by us in 1993.
